The discussion that prompted this poll continues in the sv.clarion.clarion8 newsgroup. I know lots of developers (and I'm among them) who try to avoid doing taking any IDE action while an app loads as this is likely to cause a crash.
Unlicensed userNeil Porter is convinced that moving the mouse while the app loads contributes to lockups, and suggested that seeing a panel automatically hide tempts the user to move the mouse. And if moving the mouse causes a panel to hide (or reappear), as Craig Jorgensen points out, well, you have trouble.
