This policy is subject to change without notice.
In this agreement the following definitions apply:
- The web site ClarionMag.com, along with any of its aliases, is hereafter referred to as ClarionMag
- CoveComm Inc, publisher of ClarionMag is hereafter referred to as THE PUBLISHER.
- Any feature article, short article, image, software or other information contributed to ClarionMag is referred to as THE WORK.
1. Terms and conditions
By registering for or subscribing to this magazine, or by in any way using information published on this site, you agree to the following conditions:
The information contained on ClarionMag is the property of THE PUBLISHER except as set out in Section 2.
As a subscriber you are entitled to read all parts of ClarionMag for which you have been authorized. ClarionMag is an on-line publication only. It is not a printed publication, although some material from ClarionMag may from time to time appear in printed form.
You may keep an electronic and/or print copy of such information as you wish, in unaltered form, for your own use, including PDF files which may be provided as part of your subscription, except as noted in the Expiry and Cancellation Policy below.
You may also make copies of, and freely distribute, any publicly available podcasts, provided you do not modify these files.
Other than this, you may not, under any circumstances, reproduce or retransmit the information contained in ClarionMag (except material you have contributed as noted in Section 2) without the express permission of THE PUBLISHER.
2. Contributed Material
By submitting THE WORK to ClarionMag you retain certain rights and responsibilities and you assign other rights to THE PUBLISHER.
You agree to contribute THE WORK only if does not fall under any restrictions which would make it incompatible with this agreement, and you accept full responsibility for any violation of any license or other agreements in regard to THE WORK.
You retain the ownership of THE WORK, and you may publish and/or provide THE WORK elsewhere. You grant THE PUBLISHER a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to publish and provide THE WORK.
3. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold the THE PUBLISHER and its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, owners, agents, information providers and licensors (collectively, the "CoveComm Parties") harmless from and against any and all claims, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including attorneys' fees) incurred by any CoveComm Party in connection with:
- Your use of, or connection to, our Service;
- Any use or alleged use of your accounts or your passwords by any person, whether or not authorized by you;
- The content, the quality, or the performance of Material that you submit;
- Your violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy; or
- Your violation of the rights of any other person or entity
4. Conduct
You agree not to upload or post material that is hateful, abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, threatening, illegal or sexually oriented. In short, you agree to act with decency.
Material of a commercial nature (including advertising and/or marketing material) may only be posted in areas designated for that purpose.
5. Expiry and Cancellation Policy
When your subscription expires you lose access to previously-enabled subscriber-only areas of the web site. THE PUBLISHER may, at its discretion, provide you with PDF versions of the text content previously available to you, with an effective date of plus or minus 31 days from the date of your subscription expiry.
If you receive a full refund on a subscription, your access will be terminated and you may not retain any copies of information you received from ClarionMag.
6. Violation of Agreement
If you are found to have violated this agreement your access to the site may be restricted or your subscription and/or free access may be terminated and WITHOUT refund. If your subscription is terminated because of a violation of this agreement you agree to dispose of all copies of the information you have obtained from ClarionMag.
This agreement will be governed by the laws of Manitoba, Canada.
