Rights and payments
This policy is effective April 1, 2013, and is subject to change without notice.
All submissions to ClarionMag, whether as articles, commentary or other material are subject to the ClarionMag Terms of Use. Where there is any discrepancy, the information on the Terms of Use page supercedes information on this page.
Publication Rights
By submitting the work to Clarion Magazine, and upon Clarion Magazine accepting the work for publication, the author agrees to assign the following rights to the CoveComm Inc, the publisher of Clarion Magazine:
Electronic Rights
The author conveys to the publisher the right to publish the information electronically on this site or any successor site, in perpetuity.
Subsequent Publication Rights
The author conveys to the publisher the right to reprint the work in any format (electronic, paper, or otherwise) at the publisher's discretion.
Author copyright
Subject to the above assigned rights, the author retains ownership of the material.
Payments
Any payments made for work published is entirely at the discretion of the publisher, and can be made in kind in the form of access to the paid portion of the ClarionMag site.
